Refreshed Brand Launched

With the launch of the new look website and new online CISV News we officially launch the
refreshed CISV brand. Over the past two years a team of CISV has worked with thousands of
members and external stakeholders and experts to rediscover the CISV brand. Our philosophy
was to "preserve the core of our history and traditions while stimulating progress". This
project was geared towards ensuring that CISV can respond to challenges in the current and future
environments.
The launch of the new look logo and tagline is supported by detailed brand guidelines which
can be accessed online at
http://resources.cisv.org/branding/.
Brand guidelines booklets have also been sent to all National Associations and Promotional
Associations to support the implementation of the refreshed brand. We encourage you to take
the time to understand how to use the new brand and to use the website resources including a
frequently asked questions section which may resolve the questions you have. The website also
provides links to people who can help you implement the new look in your NA, PA or Chapter.
The most critical thing to remember when using the logos is that the tagline must always be
used. NAs and PAs can translate their country name and tagline into their own language, but
they must work closely with the PR & Marketing team at
branding@support.cisv.org to achieve
this. Implementation started in February 2007 and all NAs and PAs are required to fully
comply with using the new logo and the new brand guidelines by December 2008.
