Our Partners

Since its beginning, CISV has worked in cooperation with like-minded organizations for the purpose of educational research, national, regional and international relations, and, increasingly, to develop our programmes and activities.

Our official relations

CISV International is a UNESCO partner Non Governmental Organization (NGO), holds participatory status with the Council of Europe and is a candidate member of the European Youth Forum.

The CISV Youth Peace Ambassadors (a 2 year Council of Europe initiative) are Deimente Narijauskaite (CISV Lithuania), Joanna van der Hoek (CISV Netherlands) and Hanna Gynnerstadt (CISV Sweden).

CISV International has enjoyed research partnerships with Birkbeck College (UK),Newcastle University (UK), University of Modena (Italy), University of Ohio (USA) and University of Cincinnati.

Our partner organizations

CISV International works closely with Peace One Day to support the annual international Peace Day. In 2011, CISV International partnered with Peace One Day as part of our educational focus on Conflict and Resolution for the year.

Through 2012 CISV International is partnering with Earth Hour, as we focus on Sustainable Development, and work together to raise awareness of using our resources wisely.

CISV member associations and their Chapters work in partnership with a wide variety of like-minded national and local organizations around the world.
