Extra Delegation

IVC following the recommendation submitted at IBM 1999 would like to encourage every chapter planning to host a village in 2006 and which hosted in the past 2 years an IPP or a Mosaic Project with immigration as theme to incorporate and extra delegation in their camp.
Below the original text from 1999:

  1. The hosting NA will cover the costs.
  2. The delegation MUST be entirely composed by members (no matter which generation) of an immigrant community (e.g. of African origin) active as such in the NA’s country.
  3. The participants of the immigrant delegation MUST be active members of the NA and participate in its activities.
  4. The hosting project MUST be part of the more general project of promotion of CISV International in the country of origin of the immigrantdelegation and MUST therefore be coordinated with IEC, IPC and the competent programme committee.
  5. Notice of the project at hand shall be given to the IEC within six months from the date of the programme / activity and said project shall be agreed with the NA, the IPC, the IEC and the relevant International Committee.   The latters shall deny their approval to the project only if the project is clearly and undoubtedly in conflict with the process of affiliation to CISV International, if any, of the country of origin of the relevant delegation / participant.
  6. If the country of origin is already member, or affiliate, of CISV International the hosting NA MUST establish and maintain contact with the NA in order to facilitate contacts among the immigrant delegation and the CISVers of the NA.
  7. The immigrant delegation, during the programme or activity, will represent its nation of origin.
