Description

This project will be a continuation of the previous IPP that took place in Egypt two years ago and at the same time part of a series of IPPs all at the same town of Farafra. Basically the overall project will be collaboration with mosaic and the partner organisation. As in 2006/2007 participants will help restore and clear the old city of garbage and will be working with government employees. After restoring and cleaning, inevitably ideas will arise as to how best to utilize the area. Participants will facilitate the brainstorming process and planning of ideas that come up. In order to add diversity to the project and to impact the community in more than one aspect, there will be two additional projects that participants can choose from. To cover the needs of the community CISV Egypt will conduct a workshop with the partner organisation in the community in January 2008 and then following a decision on the two other projects.
