The practical part of the IPP involved working at the City Mission as volunteers, and thereby getting a personal view of people living on the outskirts of Swedish society. The theoretical part included lectures about drug dependency and a needle exchange program, fieldtrips to different organizations that work with the issue, and country presentations about the topic in the participating countries.
