This group is for all people believing that peace building must start in the mind of the people.

Mosaic is a project based programme which empowers individuals and chapters to be agents of change, reach out, and involve as many people as possible. Each project is a separate experience that relates to a local need and interest and involves a different target group. It does not have to be in a camp setting, as with many CISV programmes, but is designed according to the needs and abilities of the CISV chapter. Using the three phase educational approach of discover, understand and create, local members develop projects in conjunction with like minded organizations or community groups. The aim is to create an authentic learning experience for participants and deliver a benefit to the wider community.

Mosaic is an official programme of CISV International

Hello dear MOSAIC people all over the world!

Here's Elisa, the Italian Coordinator.
Training update: Ico and I are going to do a FTV in Bologna next weekend for 3 Italian chapters.
This year we are hosting 5 projects!

A request for help from Capital City!

The Washington DC chapter is re-tooling and is requesting other chapter to please provide their bi-laws. The DC board is looking to eradicate new and more efficient laws.

Friends Pre-Registration for 2008

WHO
All staff, leaders, JCs, participants and MOSAIC PARTICIPANTS AS WELL

WHO WILL BE ACTIVITY MANAGER
Mosaic Staff (coordinator)

1.Programme Committees inform activity hosts (Chapters/NAs) about pre-registration.

2.Host Chapters/NAs inform their Home Mosaic Staff to register on CISV Friends and claim participation in activity.

3.Host NA confirms Home Mosaic Staff by sending list to Programme Committee and IO.

4.Programme Committee and/or IO approve claims according to the list and give Home Mosaic Staff Activity Manager status. The NA approval is sufficient as confirmation.

5.Mosaic Staff inform Mosaic participants to register on CISV Friends and claim participation in their upcoming activities.

6.The Activity Managers (Mosaic Staff) approves the claims and then, during the first days of the activity, confirms the registrations on CISV Friends against the actual turn-outthe activity and then either adds or removes if needed.
