FAQ - Why an NGO?
To work with NGOs is a top priority in CISV and a recommendation in every Mosaic Project. The main reason for that is the fact that the experience, resources and know-how of those organisations helps CISV to accomplish its goals. Besides that, it is obvious that together, NGOs can do more for the world.
An NGO can also be a very good tool to connect CISV (through Mosaic) to reality. Many NGOs have a similar ideal and philosophy as CISV, just working in different fields. Why not put them together in a bigg er project? CISV has to have a bigger impact on the lives of many CISVers but also on non-CISVers, let’s start from Mosaic!
