Diversity. Human Rights.
Participants will cooperate with the partner organization to support a group of people marginalised by unemployment or lack of qualifications, to integrate back into society. Through the provision of training and motivation, they will develop the attitudes, skills and knowledge that will help empower the group.
In a parallel, they will help launch a new project for the partner organization, working with the children of this group to promote their sense of community and their ability to act within it.
Agência de Empreendorismo Social (SEA), the partner organization, develop and implement locally integrated social entrepreneurship projects, which contribute to a sustainable social, economic and cultural environment.
The IPP participants will be able to learn from the SEA approach and explore different ways of training directly into society, whilst also sharing CISV educational methods, and global perspective and personal experiences and backgrounds of participants, with the SEA trainers.
By reflecting on the processes of integration of marginalized, non-active people back in society, this IPP will look at the themes of Diversity and Human Rights.
Participants should ideally:
- Be able to deliver soft skills training.
Be able to interact on a diverse environment.
Have a social entrepreneur attitude.
Be able to communicate in multiple ways, without the use of English as a common language.
Be able to promote ability to be an active global citizen within your own community.
