Project description

Participants in this IPP will create a programme of cultural activities - including the annual St, Anna celebration - for patients with mobility problems. Participants will spend time with the patients and help out with general tasks such as gardening.

The partner organization, Domov sv. Josefa (Home of St. Joseph), provides comprehensive health and social services to patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS.  The basis of their workis to understand the uniqueness of each person and respect for his/her personality.

In many cultures and communities, we still experience discrimination of people with disability, especially when they get older. Working with people from different cultures as well as disability and different age groups will encourage participants to enhance their diversity competence. By sharing of experiences from different countries, participants as well as patients will gain more knowledge and perspectives.
